Monitoring the export processes of domestic ICT companies is also an integral part of IVSZ’s work. In Hungary, the role of the ICT sector in the national economy remains significant and is continuing to grow, as it accounts for more than 7 percent of domestic gross value added, while its foreign trade performance is also considerable, with the sector’s share exceeding 10 percent, which is above the EU average. However, the competitiveness of domestic enterprises on the international market raises several issues, and we would like to contribute to resolving them.
We would like to jointly develop and represent the industry’s position on export-related matters, which is why we have decided to launch the Export Working Group.

The regulatory environment in the field of information security is not very favorable. The group is working on fine-tuning this.
The purpose of the Regulatory Working Group is to monitor EU legislation, develop related proposals, and review government strategies and domestic legislative and regulatory drafts.
