IVSZ – Hungarian Association of Digital Companies – is Hungary’s leading professional and advocacy organization for the domestic digital economy, providing a common platform for players in IT, telecommunications, and other increasingly digitalized sectors.
The association works to promote cooperation and knowledge sharing among its member companies, and to align the thinking of corporate, public policy, and social stakeholders on the most important issues of digitalization.
IVSZ’s vision is a competitive digital Hungary: with strong domestic digital companies that are also internationally competitive, an expanding digitalization market, highly skilled digital professionals, and a safe and inclusive digital ecosystem that also contributes to reducing social inequalities. IVSZ’s long-term goal is for Hungary to become a regional champion in digitalization.
Advocacy
One of IVSZ’s key tasks is advocacy: it actively participates in regulatory and public policy consultations affecting the digital economy, formulates recommendations, and represents the shared interests of its member companies in governmental and regulatory decision-making. It represents the industry’s perspective not only in Hungary, but also at the European and international levels, making the voice of the Hungarian digital economy heard in the broader professional arena as well.
Professional communities – working groups
A defining pillar of IVSZ’s operations is its working groups, which function as the association’s professional communities. Within these communities, member companies work together on the most important industry issues, share their experiences, jointly develop professional positions, and seek solutions to regulatory, technological, and market challenges. The working groups simultaneously serve professional cooperation, advocacy work, and knowledge sharing.
Knowledge sharing
Beyond its working groups, IVSZ also plays a major role in knowledge sharing by preparing research and studies, publishing professional content, and organizing conferences, workshops, and other events for member companies. These forums provide opportunities for stakeholders in the digital economy to share experiences, build connections, and jointly seek answers to the industry’s most important challenges.
IVSZ’s work is defined by independence and a professional mindset.
