The key element of our success is the activity of our members; theirs mutual interests can only be successfully represented through common efforts, thinking and will. The Association is primarily kept alive by the activity of the companies at the level of sections.
The participating members in the sections are meant to represent the interests of the small and medium enterprises as well as large corporations and multinational companies.
Within the organization the smaller sections were brought into life by the companies’ unique and different interests, which can be more successfully represented through a joint effort than individually at the level of enterprises.
At the level of sections the member companies discuss the issues that arise in the given field. These are developed and after the appropriate preparation are presented to the Presidium for discussion during which (if necessary) the departments enforce their common interests.
The Association is made up of sections: Section of Multinational Companies, Section of Large National Corporations, Section of Small and Medium Enterprises and Section of Micro and Start-Up Enterprises. Companies may apply for membership in a section based on their number of employees and category of sales revenue specified by the Articles of Association. One company can only belong to one section.
Registration to the given IVSZ section is done at the beginning of each year on the central database form published by IVSZ. In case a company’s number of employees and sales revenue change during the year the company will placed into a different section at its written request.
An other method of sectioning is based on the members' activities. In this method IVSZ differentiates three sections: Section of Telecommunication Companies, Section of Electronic Companies and Section of ICT Companies.
